Lester J. Raff, MD MBA Fellow, College of American Pathologists

I am certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. I have spent more than thirty years in the profession, first as a community hospital Pathologist and Laboratory Director, and for the last 10 years as Medical Director of a large private medical laboratory serving the Chicago metropolitan area. I now specializes in Urologic Pathology with Recognition by the College of American Pathologists in Prostate Pathology.

My education includes degrees from Northwestern University, University of Illinois College of Medicine, and the Keller Graduate School of Management. I have published many articles and reviews and am  the winner of awards in both the business and health care areas. My involvement in education has included a university faculty appointment and tenure as the President of the Board of Education of one of the most decorated school districts in the state of Illinois.

I am the Founder and President of Pathology Associates of Northern IL, PC, a group of four American Board of Pathologists certified pathologists, providing services in urologic, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic pathology. I was also founder of “Pathwise”, an early Internet medical website.
